7-DAY PARADISE ISLANDS TOUR AND IDYLLIC VOLOS MAMMA MIA INSPIRED TOUR

Day 1: Meet and greet at your hotel in Athens and head to Thermopylae (famous for the battle that took place there at 480 bC between 300 Greeks and thousands of Persians), we will visit the statue of king Leonidas and the new museum of Thermopylae with historical briefing about the battle of Thermopylae through digital applications. 

Afterwards we will visit the picturesque village of Portaria to enjoy dinner and try the famous local drink, tsipouro. Overnight in Volos.

Day 2: Today we will visit the railway museum and we will continue to Ano Lechona in order to take the legendary steam train «Moutzouris» which will take us to picturesque village of Milies. Our next stop will be in Ntamouchari, the main setting of the choreography of the song «Dancing Queen», where Donna welcomed both of her friends who were visiting for her daughter’s wedding (300 people worked together to aid for the scenes). We can enjoy a swim there or to the next beach of Papa Nero. Later in the evening we will enjoy typical local dinner in Volos. Overnight in Volos. 

Day 3: We are leaving the port of Volos to catch the ferry for Skiathos island, the most cosmopolitan island in the Northern Sporades. As soon as we arrive to the new port of Skiathos we are going to make a stop at the Old Port of Skiathos that was the backdrop for the scene, in which the three possible dads played by Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Stellan Skarsgård first meet each other.

Later after checking in to your hotel we will visit Koukounaries Beach known as well as Golden Beach. There the sand perfectly reflects the golden light and the pine trees almost reach the water in an idyllic environment for your first swim. Later in the evening we will visit the vivid center of Skiathos so you will enjoy unique plates for dinner and drinks. Overnight in Skiathos.

Day 4: Today after breakfast we will visit Kanapitsa Beach which offers watersport activities as well and Troulos Beach with it’s amazing white sand.

In the afternoon we are going to visit the Bourtzi, a small peninsula with lush vegetation where the ruins of a Venetian fortress still stand. There was shooted the scene with the boat at the start of «Mamma mia! Here we go again» and the scene running to reach the boat that would take them to the neighboring island of KALOKAIRI. At the old port we are going to enjoy the amazing sunset and our dinner. Overnight in Skiathos.

Day 5: We will check out to take the boat to visit the island «kalokairi», the greenest island of the Aegean Sea which is Skopelos! Our first visit will be at Kastani Beach where the main scenes of the movie where shot (it is where Tania sings «Does your mother know», Sophie and Sky sing «Lay all your love on me» and Donna’s dads say goodbye with «I have a dream». We will also visit Milia Beach where movie scenes where shot as well. Late in the afternoon we will visit the picturesque town of Skopelos to enjoy our dinner and the scenery. Overnight in Skopelos.

Day 6: After breakfast we are going to visit Agios Ioannis (St. John) chapel (where Donna sings to Sam, «The winner takes it all» and Sophie and Sky get married). We will follow the 100 steps, curved on the rocks that will lead us to the picturesque chapel. Later we will visit the folklore museum of Skopelos to admire the popular tradition of the island and we will leave to visit Glysteri Beach. This beach was the departing point for Sophie’s wedding and Sophie, Bill, Harry and Sam sang «Our Last Summer» before jumping from the rocks to the sea. We will have dinner in the center of Skopelos. Overnight in Skopelos.

Day 7: After breakfast we take the ferry to the mailand from where the driver will transfer you back to Athens.
