Pick up from your Hotel and start right away the Athens City Tour from the Parliament, and the Guards at the Unknown Soldier’s Tomb, we continue to the University of Athens, the Library, and the Presidential Residence (Ex-King Residence) with the traditional presidential Guards. Next stop will be at the Panathinaiko Stadium (where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896) and at the Temple of Zeus.

Then we will make a short stop for photos under the amazing Acropolis and the Parthenon, and the Mars Hill the place where Apostle Paul preached the word of God to the great Athenian philosophers.

We will continue to visit the Byzantine and Christian Museum one of Greece’s national museums. Its areas of competency are centred on – but not limited to – religious artefacts of the Early Christian, Byzantine, Medieval, post-Byzantine and later periods which it exhibits, but also acquires, receives, preserves, conserves, records, documents, researches, studies, publishes and raises awareness of.

Our next visit will be at the Museum of Cycladic Art, that is dedicated to the study and promotion of ancient cultures of the Aegean and Cyprus, with special emphasis on Cycladic Art of the 3rd millennium BC. It was founded in 1986, to house the collection of Nicholas and Dolly Goulandris. Since then it has grown in size to accommodate new acquisitions, obtained either through direct purchases or through donations by important collectors and institutions.

As it is a private and Tailor made Tour, we can stop at any time for a coffee break or a light lunch, or we can visit another museum that you may wish. (approx. 6 hours tour)
